A new chapter for Cummins Mellor

After 36 years of family ownership, we’re proud to announce the next phase in the journey of Cummins Mellor.

After many years of thoughtful transition, founders Richard and Michelle Mellor now mark the culmination of an extraordinary thirty six year journey as they step away from the business. From building both companies from the ground up to establishing them as highly respected names in the industry, their legacy is profound, opening doors for thousands of people through the candidates supported and contributing meaningfully to both local and national business communities.

Michelle will continue her connection to the industry in the months ahead, remaining in her role as REC Chair until October, bringing this chapter to a fitting and impactful close.

We’re delighted that the business will stay in the family and Katie and Jack Mellor will be taking over ownership, with a clear vision and ambitious plans for the future.

The business will continue to be led by Managing Director Andrew Gardner, who will work closely with the owners to drive the next stage of growth.

While ownership evolves, our focus remains the same, supporting our clients, candidates, and team, and continuing to build on the strong foundations already in place.
