“I joined the business in 2017 as an Administrator in the national interim chef recruitment business, CJUK. In 2018 I transferred over to our national background screening business, Personnel Checks. I spent the next couple of years advising our client base, while learning the intricacies of background screening legislation in both the private and public sectors.
I now utilise that knowledge in the marketing team as the company Copywriter. I produce content and copy across three brands under the Personnel Checks umbrella, TaxiPlus, MyCheck and Personnel Checks itself.
Before joining the business, I worked in kitchens from the age of 15 onwards as a Kitchen Porter, then apprentice Chef and became a Chef de Partie before leaving to go to university.
When I’m not in the Personnel Checks office I spend my time cooking (surprisingly), playing guitar and taking long walks on the beach…not really, more like walking through the rain with my Husky, Thor.”
