James Eastham

Business Development Executive

I joined the business in September 2017 as a Business Development Executive in our Safeguarding division, Personnel Checks. My work is focused around growing our ‘Taxi+’ product, a tailored taxi licensing solution for local authorities. It’s my role to build relationships with councils across the UK.

Before joining Personnel Checks, I lived in the City of London working as a foreign exchange broker, for one of the world’s leading fintech companies. I was responsible for generating new business and managing the currency risk exposure for our global clients. Although I decided London wasn’t for me, it was a great experience and has certainly equipped me with a lot of the sales skills I use every day.

I also spent a year working for the UK’s leading golf retailer, it was great to combine my passion for golf with work, and gave me a different dimension to my sales experience.

When I’m not in the office I can usually be found on the driving range or the golf course. If I’m not golfing I’m probably at a gig with friends or family.
