Dress Down for East Lancs Hospice

To kick off the New Year we asked the Cummins Mellor team to recommend a charity of their choice, these charities would then receive the funds raised from one of our ‘Dress Down Days’ throughout the year.

Our first Dress Down Day was in aid of the wonderful East Lancashire Hospice…

Who are East Lancashire Hospice?

East Lancashire Hospice began in 1984 by Anaesthetist Merton Seigleman. Dr Seigleman was passionate about delivering pain-free care for patients with a cancer diagnosis, who are in their final stages of life and so built a hospice to provide just that.

East Lancs Hospice today provides a variety of services, available to people with life-limiting illnesses. Their services range from Bereavement support to an Inpatient unit.

On the day, each member of the Cummins Mellor team was proud to make a donation to the charity and help spread the word about their fantastic work.
