Cummins Mellor Ranked for Prestigious Investors in People Awards 2017

Cummins Mellor has been named as a leader in people management practice globally, having been placed 10th out of 70 companies who were eligible to be ranked in the Gold Employer of the Year (2 – 49 employees) category at the annual Investors in People awards.

Investors in People is an internationally recognised accreditation held by around 14,000 organisations in over 75 countries. There were over 100 companies represented at their awards on Thursday 23rd November – both UK based and international – falling into 12 different award categories.

The awards celebrate the best people management practices amongst Investors in People accredited businesses and winners were announced at a spectacular awards ceremony & dinner at Old Billingsgate, London, on 23rd November 2017.

The awards provide the opportunity to benchmark against high performing organisations globally. This year, the 12 award categories focused on the main elements of what it means to be an Investor in People form Excellence in Leadership and Management to Excellence in Social Responsibility to Employer of the Year.

Those who ranked in this year’s ceremony represent the companies who have fully embraced the IIP mission to unlock organisational success by realising the potential of their people. They are truly outperforming and impressive companies who value employees as part of their business.

Managing Director, Michelle Mellor commented on the achievement; “To have been nominated for this award was an incredible achievement only made possible by everyone here. I’d like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to every one of our team for their contribution towards our accreditation! Our finalist trophy is on proud display in our reception area!”
