You may or may not have already read our previous blogs on skills shortages or heard about it in the news, but candidates are quickly becoming king in the recruitment process.
In order to come out on top in the attraction of candidates and make sure they chose you over another employer, it’s vital to ensure good practice prevails throughout your recruitment process.
As a result, the recruitment industry’s governing body the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) has introduced the Good Recruitment Charter to promote the importance of good recruitment practice for organisational success.
The campaign will help organisations to reinvigorate their recruiting strategies so they provide a better candidate experience and work more effectively with their recruitment partners.
Good recruitment helps organisations to acquire talent they need in order to perform and grow. It provides great candidate experiences and helps ensure that the recruitment process is ethical and professional.
This Charter defines good recruitment practice through nine key principles that organisations who are members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation sign up to and aspire to.
