My favourite memory as a child is?

Playing in the back garden in the snow and running in to put wet gloves on the radiator and grab nice warm ones and run out again.


My favourite food is?

Mushrooms and sprouts (sprouts have to be soft though)


 The last book I ever read was?

I can’t remember but I have a Kindle now so I am reading again.  I do like autobiographies.


Which cartoon character best describes you and why?

There are several like Mr Bump & Mr Messy but it has to be Clumsy Smurf.


If you were to live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?

I would spend 6 months in the Arctic Circle and 6 months in the Antarctic so I could study the Penguins and Polar Bears.


Have you ever met a famous person?

The Dalai Lama when I studied for a short time with his monks in Mcleodganj in Dharamsala, India.


When was the last time you cried? 

When I had a blood clot on my lung and the pain was the worst that I had ever experienced and I was told if I had left it 2 more days I may not have pulled through.


What is your favourite film?

Apollo 13, love the acting but Armageddon because of course Steve Tyler’s brilliant theme tune.


What are you naturally talented at?

Training and Policies


Who is your guilty pleasure?

Steve Tyler from Aerosmith –gorgeous and a great voice.


What is your favourite chocolate bar?

All of them – but I will go for a Boost.


Can you play a musical instrument?

I can play the Flute and Piano but not very well anymore.


Who plays the most influential role in your life and why?

My husband Neil, he is honest, loyal, caring and loving and a brilliant father.


An interesting fact about me that not many people know is: 

I have taught English in a school in Northern India.  The children were so good and a pleasure to teach.


What is your motto in life?

Just have a go at it.  You can use all the excuses but in the end, if you want to do it, you can and you will.
