  • Dramatically reduce aged debt from around £2 million to almost nothing in two years

 Experienced Buyer within Specialist Textiles and Engineering industry experience

A highly creative and innovative buying professional who has spearheaded their career over the past 5 years not only through completing their CIPS Level 6 with outstanding marks, but through their contribution to making significant savings along with streamlining processes and procedures across a number of businesses.

Over the past 5 years, they have worked as part of an effective team primarily on indirect and direct purchasing budgets which has included print, stationary and workwear.  This experience encompasses the implementation of framework agreements; terms of business; KPI analysis and feedback (including 2-way feedback) through to sourcing and negotiating with suppliers both in the UK and the Far East.  They have also had a major involvement with the introduction of an effective ERP system to reduce the companies maverick spending.

An outstanding individual who is continually striving for success which includes studying towards their Commercial Law Degree; along with in their leisure time researching Process Improvement Methodology!

Salary expectation: £25,000 per annum.
