Our client is a leading company and are looking to recruit a motivated and personable Trainee Account Manager to join their successful team.

Our client specialises in the manufacturing industry and supports some of the UK’s most well-known organisations. With ambitious growth plans in place, the organisation seek to attract a bright and willing individual to join their team.

As a Trainee Account Manager your role will include;

  • Ensuring that all customer contacts are dealt with in a confident manner, in line with agreed processes, taking ownership to ensure effective resolution
  • Building relationships with our existing customers to cater for their requirements
  • Assisting with enquiries via phone and email from both prospects and customers
  • Taking and processing orders
  • Take ownership of some accounts – sending quotations
  • Maintaining the CRM system so that customer details and the opportunities are accurately recorded
  • Learning the sales cycle and training up to become a full account manager

The successful candidate must;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to build and nurture customer relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Be self-motivated with ability to build positive working relationships
  • Be a team player with ability to work using own initiative
  • Computer literate – outlook, excel and word
  • Have the ability to use a common sense approach to problem solving
