My client is an established software solutions provider of weighing applications providing solutions to the Food, Cash handling, Waste and Meat industries. They offer security and a family orientated environment, and a progressive work environment.


As Operations QHSE Manager your role will include;

  • Ensure continued compliance to EN ISO9001, ISO/IEC 1705:2005 and UKAS Calibration standards and any future standards
  • Developing , implementing, maintaining and improving all aspects of quality, environmental and Health & Safety aspects


The ideal Operations QHSE Manager must;

  • Manage the small assembly area, including stores and goods in.
  • Keep all supplier contracts including utilities up to date and report same to management
  • Manage all aspects of Stevens Group’s certifications including new starter inductions, risk assessments, manual handling, accident and near misses, COSHH, Fire prevention etc.
  • Full responsibility for all audits and annual inspections to ensure retention of standards
  • To successfully convert our existing ISO qualification to the new ISO9001:2015 standard
  • Work closely with all management to promote a culture of compliance and continuous quality improvement for products and services
  • Conduct occupational health and safety related surveys such as noise, lighting, COSHH, etc.
  • Provide monthly action plan reports to be presented and discussed at the Management’s monthly meeting
  • To manage the facility and utility contracts such as phones, services etc.


Candidate Qualifications and Requirements;

  • HND Engineer, mechanical preferred
  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent – desirable
  • Proven ISO9001 Quality Assurance management and experience
  • Proven Health and Safety management and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels
  • Have effective presentation and training skills to translate legislation into everyday language, with skills to drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Good PC skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
