We are looking for a high activity, results-driven individual to join a market leading broking company as a Trainee Sales Account Manager.

Our client is a market leader in business sale transactions for SMEs across the UK. The company is sector specific offering a tailor made broker service to their clients and with 35+ years of delivering successful sales, they are constantly exceeding their client’s expectations.

As a result there is now an opportunity to join the company to work within one of the market sectors as a Trainee Sales Account Manager handling negotiations on behalf of the business. This is an opportunity to work within a team of experienced sales negotiators in a customer-focused, feedback rich, and fast paced environment.

This role is primarily aimed at building long-term customer relationships; the successful candidate will be responsible for their own portfolio of businesses and will be responsible for handling negotiations with multiple vendors.

Sales experience is not required as full training will be given but experience of negotiation and providing excellent levels of customer service and a willingness to do so is essential.

As a Trainee Sales Account Manager your role will include;

  • Handling and generating buyer enquires
  • Sending out details of businesses on the market to potential purchasers
  • Qualifying buyers in line with company standards
  • Maintaining and building a database of buyers
  • Arranging viewings and liaising with both clients and buyers
  • Collating viewing feedback and feeding back to vendors
  • Maintaining high levels of customer care in a busy office environment
  • Working with the team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s
  • Liaising with company trading partners and professional contacts
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Negotiating with vendors and buyers to achieve mutually beneficial sales

The ideal Trainee Sales Account Manager must;

  • Possess a record success within a sales/customer care environment
  • Have a proven track of delivering key performance in a busy office environment
  • Uphold effective communication skills both internally and externally
  • Be capable of building relationships with people at all levels
  • Possess excellent influencing and negotiating capabilities
  • Have strong customer service and telephone skills
  • Have the ability to work independently, work under pressure and meet deadlines
