A fantastic has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Ecommerce Assistant to join a growing Ecommerce team.

Our client is an international manufacturing company based in Blackburn that has been innovating the home improvement market for 70 years. The company’s remarkable growth is a result of strategic partnerships with some of the world’s leading retailers, and an ongoing focus on continuous improvement across all areas of our business.

The past 12 months have seen a surge in Ecommerce for the business with sales up significantly year on year. The future ambitions of the business lie in driving Ecommerce forwards and growing thier sales quickly, across further sites, product categories and further countries, and now we have a role available within the team.

The key purpose of the Ecommerce Assistant is to assist in the day to day operations and running of the marketplace online accounts, both from a trading and operational perspective. This is a 9 month maternity cover, however there is an opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.

As an Ecommerce Assistant your role will include;

  • Creating product listings in multiple formats for different partners
  • Analysing and optimising listings and content to ensure maximum visibility and sales
  • Sales analysis and the ability to pull together reports for meetings and insights
  • Checking and highlighting any issues seen with account health
  • Taking control of the online pricing ensuring that the full price products and sale prices are correct and scheduled as required
  • Liaising with customer services and the warehouse on any logistic or customer service queries
  • Heavily focused on online product optimisation and listing
  • Responsible for making sure that any operational processes and elements are working as they should and highlighting any issues

The ideal Ecommerce Assistant must;

  • Have an in depth knowledge of using both Amazon & eBay platforms
  • A passionate person with a ‘can do’ attitude and enthusiasm to learn
  • An ability to work cross-functionally
  • High level of attention to detail, strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Good knowledge of using excel essential
  • Language capabilities in French/German would be advantageous
