System Hygiene was established in 1984 and are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join their thriving team in Lancashire.

System Hygiene was established in 1984 and has successfully grown to become one of the UK’s leading suppliers and distributors of washroom, cleaning, floor care, catering, work wear, maintenance and safety

Due to continued growth, they wish to bring an individual into their sales & marketing team to develop and enhance e-commerce, marketing and digital sales strategies.

Working closely with the senior management team you will be responsible for improving marketing activity and sales generated through digital marketing and e-commerce.

The successful candidate will have a degree in sales, marketing or a similar field and will have ambitions of managing this area of the business in the long term. System Hygiene are committed to the personal and professional development of the individual appointed in this role and wish for them to progress into a position of managerial responsibility.

System Hygiene can be flexible with the working patterns for the successful candidate, offering both reduced and flexible hours.

As the Marketing Manager your role will include;

  • Maintaining and improving the existing catalogue of products
  • Developing the existing website content, other digital projects and all marketing efforts
  • Creating new web products using the best combination of keywords in order to build informative, yet SEO friendly, descriptions
  • Managing all e-marketing activities including Social Media, SEO and web advertising
  • Creating and listing products on eBay, Amazon and Google Shopping
  • Working with the existing sales team to implement and develop usage of sales analysis software
  • Maintaining and expanding email contact lists and database
  • Developing company promotions and special offers
  • Informing the marketplace of the latest product lines and offers
  • Writing and distributing the company newsletter
  • Identifying market opportunities through web platforms
  • Reporting all digital and marketing activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis through use of KPI’s and Google Analytics

The ideal Marketing Manager must;

  • Be technologically minded
  • Possess a sound knowledge of Marketing principles
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Have a thorough understanding of key marketing concepts, best practice and tools used to promote products on e-platforms
  • Be confident working towards targets and deadlines
  • Be focused, proactive, positive, committed and be able to work well under pressure
