System Hygiene was established in 1984 and has successfully grown to become one of the UK’s leading suppliers and distributors. They now seek an Account Manager to join their expanding team.

System Hygiene was established in 1984 and has successfully grown to become one of the UK’s leading suppliers and distributors of washroom, cleaning, floor care, catering, work wear, System Hygiene Logomaintenance and safety products.

Due to maternity leave, they seek to employ an additional member of the Account Management team to work alongside the Sales Managers to maximise profitability within existing and lapsed accounts.

Your role will involve developing relationships with customers, establishing requirements and upselling additional products to deliver long-term growth opportunities for the business.

System Hygiene can be flexible with the working patterns for the successful candidate offering both reduced and flexible hours. Whilst covering a maternity leave in the first instance, a permanent job offer would be made to a standout candidate.

As an Account Manager your role will include;

  • Managing client relationships to maximise business and margin as well as minimising the opportunities for competitor penetration
  • Working with current and lapsed clients to generate return business and increase levels of purchase
  • Identifying market opportunities and developing plans to capitalise on them
  • Responding to, and following up on, sales enquiries and leads by telephone
  • Calling current, lapsed and prospective customers acting upon leads and commercial information
  • Negotiating rates in line with pricing policy to maximise margin and optimise revenue from clients
  • Recording information accurately and consistently on an in-house CRM system

  • Be fully computer literate
