Due to a period of exceptional growth my client seeks an additional team member to join their marketing department to help deliver on digital marketing strategy for the business. My client can offer a family orientated office environment, and career development opportunities.


This Marketing Assistant position arises in an environment that offers a wealth of experience and passion for IT technologies. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented marketer to help produce first class marketing collateral including web design and e-marketing and will also help manage social media for the business. The role is well suited to a creative individual looking to develop their skills in an exciting and expanding industry.

The role will encompass working with a range of technologies, and whilst experience across Mail Chimp and Adobe Software (particularly Photoshop) is desirable it is not essential. The successful candidate will have a passion, first and foremost, for delivering first class marketing across digital platforms and will show a desire to expand their technical capabilities.

The role requires a dynamic and innovative individual who tackles challenges head-on and thrives in a forward-thinking environment.

As a Marketing Assistant your role will include:

  • Assisting with e-marketing tasks, including the creation of brand-aligned and targeted campaigns based on existing templates
  • Regularly updating the master database in conjunction with mailing responses and new subscriber information
  • Managing social media accounts and campaigns with the aim of maximising reach and keeping true to the “tone-of-voice” of the company’s brand
  • Researching, creating and uploading original content with a view to appealing to the company’s target market and further improving our corporate image
  • Collecting and presenting monthly digital marketing statistics, including page-views, clicks and impressions, with information of month-to-month increases and decreases
  • Working with the Digital Designer and wider team to create client-facing branded documents, including product user manuals, proposals and contracts
  • Ensuring design is consistent across all external documents as well as proofreading all copy and alterations
  • Contributing ideas and proposing new directions that will improve their marketing reach and conversion rates
  • SEO of website – both paid and organic

The successful Marketing Assistant will:

  • Have previous experience working in a marketing role
  • Be educated to degree level in Marketing or a similar field (not essential)
  • Be able to present and discuss information in a clear and precise manner on both a verbal and written platform
