With a projection for growth, an exciting new position has opened up for a Sales and Account Support Manager.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be required to generate and manage sales revenue to contribute to individual and company targets, whilst managing sales processes and being a brand ambassador for the company both in the UK and globally.

This is a role that requires an amalgamation of Account Management, Sales and Project Management. You will need to be creative with an appreciation of design which will allow you to offer ideas and solutions, sometimes thinking outside the box. The clients and projects you will work on will require close client relationships to be developed, that result in a detailed understanding of the customer requirements. This will then be channelled in precise instructions to the team in order to create and supply decorations that will inspire magic and dreams. My client is looking for someone to join their team with a hunger to learn, train and develop into their industry.


As Sales and Account Manager you will required to:

  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry to delivery of products
  • Conduct initial site surveys and talk to customers about new products
  • Develop strong and positive relationships with customers when out in the marketplace
  • Obtain key information during communication including details of budgets, desired concepts and likes/dislikes
  • Focus on delivering proposals tailored to a client’s budget and vision
  • Lead tender campaigns
  • Take responsibility to deliver sales presentations
  • Report all meetings and communications through in-house CRM database system
  • Demonstrate a professional approach at all times
  • Ability to negotiate additional business sales outside of contractual agreements
  • Visit all key competitor schemes during the festive season
  • Report findings of competitor site surveys to in-house team including pictures
  • Lead the development of creative ideas that can combat the competition
  • Liaise with the in-house design team to ensure that we are market leading and inspirational in all areas of visual creativity
  • Report regularly to Managing Director on ongoing projects and strategies
  • Work in collaboration with the wider sales and project management team to deliver client requirements

The ideal Sales and Account Manager must:

  • Have the ability to listen and absorb information provided by the client
  • Ask relevant questions in order to ascertain a full understanding of the clients expectations
  • Be detail orientated
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be commercially aware, with a proven working understanding of margins
  • Be driven to succeed, with the passion to meet continual targets
  • Be able to offer a continual comprehensive service to clients
  • Have amazing interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and sustain business relationships
  • Possess excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Be adaptable with the ability to work within a fast paced changing environment
  • Be able to cope with change and the pressure that it brings
  • Have strong presentation skills, with the ability to present ideas and inspire interest
  • Possess the ability to interpret a brief and communicate this to the team
  • Project management experience would be of benefit
  • You must be a completer of tasks, overcoming obstacles and working to very tight deadlines
