Cummins Mellor are recruiting experienced Outbound Sales Advisors to work for a well established company based in Burnley. This is a target based, sales focused role in an open plan office.

My client is an established firm that has been in business for over 100 years’.

They currently have exciting opportunities for Sales people to join their established team.

Making outbound B2B calls, you will identify customers, win their confidence and sales and then work with them and manage their accounts for a period of up to 6 months.

Full, extensive and in depth training will be given, in regard to the full product range, systems, sales patterns and how to identify potential clients, leads and how to develop them to their full potential. You will also receive training on introductions/emails/call structure etc.

The Role

  • You will be working in a B2B call centre
  • You will be required to meet targets ( these will grow gradually after an initial training period and until you meet expectations)
  • Plan & prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed targets, involving high volume business to business cold calling.
  • Maintain and develop new and existing customers through appropriate sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to, and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Update all customer records on our system.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Answer and make calls in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
  • Log information on calls where required and maintain detailed and accurate customer records.
  • To deal with customer complaints and queries to a satisfactory level.
  • To help train and provide information to new members of staff.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent timekeeping skills
  • Previous experience of a B2B sales environment
  • Be organised will attention to detail
  • Have strong desire to succeed in a sales environment
  • Driven and able to work to targets
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Exceptional telephone and interpersonal skills
