An award winning, family run hotel in the heart of Lancashire is looking for a creative individual to take on the company’s digital marketing responsibilities.

Our client seek an individual that shares their passion for marketing and promoting their high-end brand to both leisure and business clientele. The successful candidate will be completely focused on supporting the sales team to drive business and deliver the organisation’s customer promise.

The Digital Marketing Executive role will include carrying out various tasks for each of the element of the establishment’s service offerings in order to support the Sales Department and increase visibility in order to deliver the company’s growth objectives.


  • Creating varied, relevant and interesting content to add to the websites and promote via social media and e-marketing
  • Working in conjunction with external design partners to produce website banners and assisting with web visuals
  • Conducting keyword research and web statistics reporting
  • Using web analytics software to monitor performance of the company’s website and make recommendations for improvement

Content Creation

  • Contributing to company and industry specific blogs and managing e-communications
  • Developing and integrating content marketing strategies in line with the company’s sales and marketing objectives
  • Creating engaging and interesting content to drive traffic to the website

Social Media Management

  • Implementing social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns in conjunction with current marketing strategies.
  • Supporting the company’s social media accounts; posting engaging content, encouraging interaction and increasing the amount of relevant followers on each platform
  • Using analytics software to monitor and report on the progress of the company’s social media accounts

Email Marketing Design and Distribution

  • Writing and distributing email marketing campaigns
  • Managing the contact database and assisting with lead generation activities
  • Reporting marketing statistics back to sales teams for review


  • Liaising with PR partner to identify PR opportunities and provide content for PR campaigns aimed at raising brand awareness and the profile of the company

Other Duties include

  • Providing accurate reports and analysis to company management to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI)
  • Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
  • Keeping up to date with current digital trends
  • Negotiating with media suppliers to achieve the best price for services
  • Plotting marketing expenditure into a written budget and identifying where possible saving could be made

The ideal Digital Marketing Executive must;

  • Possess a sound knowledge of Digital Marketing strategies and ideally have some marketing experience in a commercial environment
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines whilst delivering excellent standard of work
  • Be mindful of marketing expenditure and working closely with the Sales & Marketing manager to ensure budgets are utilised appropriately and to maximum effect

The successful Digital Marketing Executive will be supported with;

  • Full inductions to the company’s Brand Values, Company Message, Commercial Direction, Business Objectives, Growth Plans etc. in order to understand what part you will play in delivering the marketing objectives for the business
  • Clear and continued guidance from the Sales & Marketing Manager with regards to objectives, targets and timescales
