Cummins Mellor are looking for an Account Manager to join a well established team in East Lancashire.

Cummins Mellor seek an outgoing, confident Account Manager to join an established, target driven business in the East Lancashire area. Joining a successful, dynamic team, you will be responsible for managing key accounts in support of the Field Sales representatives and managers.

This role has been created due to current company growth, projected growth plans, and the number of opportunities that have arisen in new markets.

The role will require you to manage their key accounts and to work closely with the sales department to ensure the highest levels of customer service are achieved. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager you will be required to offer excellent customer service as well as selling other products and packages where applicable. You will be required to deal with clients on all levels.

As an Account Manager your role will include;

  • Managing and maintaining key customer accounts
  • Ensuring that clients’ needs are being met to their full potential
  • Presenting at all levels within the account and building solid relationships
  • Understanding the needs and business challenges of the account to allow the development of a compelling solutions
  • Managing customer and field sales representative expectations resulting in a high success rate and renewal of contracts
  • Working closely with all decision makers to identify and secure additional business, extensions and renewals from the client
  • Supporting bid and tender management for larger opportunities
  • Selling and promoting add on services

The ideal Account Manager must;

  • Have previous experience in Account Management
  • Be an ambitious individual with a proven track record in relationship building
  • Be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills
  • Have good business development skills
  • Be able to present the company’s image professionally in a formal way at all levels.
  • Possess the ability to work on your own initiative toward a team goal
  • Have the ability to recognise opportunities and develop them
  • Have a passion for selling and negotiating
  • Possess strong communication and ICT skills
