An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR professional to join a thriving, rapidly expanding, East Lancashire online retailer.

Following the recent appointment of their Head of People & Engagement, they seek an ambitious, hard-working, career driven HR Assistant to join their team.

Providing mountains of scope for personal and professional progression, this role would be ideal for someone who is early in their HR career and is looking to learn from a highly skilled and knowledgeable mentor and develop skills within a HR advisory capacity.

What will my new role involve?

  • Acting as the first point of contact on a wide range of human resource issues including performance and absence management, employment law, organisational change and disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Compiling and distributing documentation to support HR processes
  • Maintaining the highest levels of HR compliance including employee records
  • Supporting the recruitment, on boarding and exit process of employees
  • Supporting the Head of People and Engagement to review and develop policies and procedures
  • Maintenance of the HR management system to keep accurate records in line with best practice and employment law
  • Consolidating robust HR reporting and MI to support future decision making
