We are looking for bright, enthusiastic, positive, career minded chefs with a great attitude to work and life.

This is a purpose-designed events space and combines Tennants auctions with great food and events. The Lounge and Private Dining Room offers exclusive areas for special occasions and celebrations. There is also a cafe which offers the best of British food, which opens during the day as well as weddings and large events which are held once/twice a week with an exclusive hire venue.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • The role consists of food ordering, working with the Executive Chef in menu planning and delivering and maintaining high standards throughout the restaurant and cafe operation
  • To be supportive along with the executive chef in hitting G.P targets,
  • 100% hands on;
  • To be able to produce food to a high standard with strong presentation skills

The ideal Sous Chef Chef will;

  • Applicants for this role should have worked to a senior chef level in a busy, fresh food kitchen where you managed a small team of chefs and took on responsibility for all the kitchen management duties.
  • We are looking for bright, enthusiastic, positive, career minded chefs with a great attitude to work and life.
  • Have experience with a similar type of establishment.
  • Able to work flexible hours and work well under pressure.
  • Be professional, meticulous and organised.
  • You will be working in an open kitchen and personal appearance, hygiene and ability to work professionally is vital.
  • Strong communication, leadership skills & people management

The Benefits:

  • Salary of up to £26,000; dependent on experience and qualification;
  • Daytime Hours with 2/3 evenings a week
