Based in Hounslow , this is a leading contract catering company caterers across the London scene. Catering for large corporate business, events and several airlines.

This is an ideal position for a Sous Chef looking to develop his/her skills and work with professional chefs whilst enjoying a work life balance. This is a hands-on role working Monday- Friday, with occasional weekends depending on the commercial needs of the business, based on a 45 hour working week.

As Pastry Chef your main duties includes:

  • Taking complete control of the Pastry department
  • Managing a team of 25 chefs ensuring the smooth running of the pastry section
  • Producing up to 23 product lines to a high standard approx 3000 pieces and garnishes
  • Managing staff, motivating and organising the workload

The ideal Pastry Chef will:

  • Passionate talented Pastry Chef who has previous experience working with high volume
  • Be a Chef that can work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
  • Able to work with senior managers on improving performance
  • Able to complete all documentation to a high standard

In return this fantastic Pastry Chef position can offer:

  • Excellent salary of £30-34K (dependent on experience)
  • Holiday entitlement; 20 days per annum increasing to 25 days after completion of 5 years’ service
  • Monday – Friday hours 7am – 4pm
