This is a dynamic family owned company who serves authentic Italian food. This is a lively contemporary Italian restaurant which has been open for over 9 years offering classic & creative cuisine, using the finest produce. Its vibrant interior mirrors the artistry in the kitchen and is complimented by the modern art on the walls.

Whether you are a couple, a family or a larger party wanting to celebrate a special occasion; this restaurant combines a friendly welcome with the finest Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.

We are currently looking for Head Chef that is creative, passionate, dedicated, fun, energetic, and most importantly someone who is passionate about fresh food. Candidates will ideally have previous experience working in a busy kitchen; have the passion to prepare dishes of the highest quality and a desire to acquire new skills.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare, present and serve food to required company standards
  • Responsible for all kitchen areas and kitchen staff; a team of 5
  • Creative dish and menu planning as well as ordering of kitchen supplies
  • Utilising local suppliers using high quality ingredient for all components of the Menu
  • Responsibility for GP margin and maximise efficiency in line with the budget

The ideal Head Chef will have:

  • At least 4 years experience working in a similar environment, emphasis on Italian and Mediterranean food desirable
  • High standards of cleanliness and have a Food Hygiene certificate
  • A passion for fresh food, with knowledge of modern Italian, European & British food
  • Calmness under pressure and attention to detail will be a real asset

Person Essentials:

  • A good verbal and written command of English
  • At least 2 years’ experience on at least Sous Chef level, working with British seasonal ingredients
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and a strong team leader and manager

We are looking for people with the intelligence, intuition and motivation to excel at the role; constantly wanting to better themselves and over deliver.

This is a city centre role so the successful candidate would need to be able to commute on a daily basis
