We are a family destination fusion buffet restaurant that serves up the world’s cuisine right in front of you!

With an open plan Theatre Kitchen, our Master Chefs serve quality food to order. The menus change daily, so something fresh and exciting is always the order of the day.

We are looking for four Specialist Chefs who will have creativity and have the aptitude to work in a fast paced customer and business focused environment. The successful applicants would be required to have suitable level of skills and knowledge for preparing, cooking and finishing complex made to order regional Continental entrees and main dishes using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods. The dishes would centre on Indian, Continental, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Vietnam & Chinese dishes

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • To prepare complex marinades and ingredient fusions and have the ability to introduce new dishes to the menu as desired by the management.
  • Planning of seasonal dishes and specials in addition to the established menus.
  • You will be responsible for a small team of chefs; training, development and leadership
  • Involved with budget planning, forecasting and liaising with suppliers
  • Further duties will include monitoring and management of food waste, routine stock ordering, rotation quality checks, monitoring implementing and ensuring compliance of hygiene and health & safety guidelines in their respective specialty departments.

Ideal candidate will:

  • Skill/Qualifications- Masters degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant kitchen experience
  • Be a Chef that can work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
  • Be creative, knowledgeable, well organised who is hands on and pro-active
  • Be a natural leader who will be initiative and be comfortable with autonomy over their role
  • Qualified in food safety standards and familiar with health inspections
