Our client’s establishment is based in the Ribble Valley and serves classic, old- fashioned British cuisine. Our client seeks a strong Sous or Head Chef to lead their busy kitchen brigade, working with all fresh ingredients serving the very best of British fare.

This gastro pub will be a popular venue for locals, weekend guests and private functions with a capacity of 60+ covers.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Be involved in creating exciting new menus, using your ideas and the best of local produce
  • You will be responsible for a small team of chefs; training, development and leadership
  • Overseeing and developing the organisation of food preparation and production according to demands of the business whilst maintaining company standard

Ideal candidate will:

  • Be a Head Chef for a minimum of 2 years with restaurant/gastro pub experience
  • Be managing a small team so must be able to lead effectively and by example
  • Have a positive professional outlook with an eye for detail.
  • Have a great understanding seasonal produce and working closely with the suppliers
