The site has 9 luxury bedrooms and combines a menu of modern British classics and local seasonal fare; offering locals and destination dinners a fantastic experience. With full autonomy over the kitchen, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Head or Senior Sous Chef to make a name for him/herself.

Your role as Head Chef will include:

  • Devising menus which demonstrate flair, imagination and a commercial awareness that meets customer needs and preferences
  • You will be responsible for a small team of chefs; training, development and leadership
  • Accountability for all finance; including food budgets, average spend, profit percentages and expenses
  • Overseeing and developing the organisation of food preparation and production according to demands of the business whilst maintaining company standard

Person Specification

  • Be a Head Chef for a minimum of 2 years with restaurant and hotel experience
  • Be uncompromising in achieving company standards
  • Be highly motivated with great attention to detail with the ability to work within a close knit environment
  • Be charge of training employees and creating the schedule to ensure adequate manning for the kitchen
