An exciting opportunity has arisen for an interim Assistant Restaurant Manager. You will be joining a professional front of house team and support the restaurant manager in the day to day running of the restaurant operation. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all guest expectations are met during their visit to the brasserie by providing both a fantastic service and dining experience serving modern British food with unrivalled, friendly hospitality.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager your role will include;

  • Managing a team of 17 full/part time staff
  • Day to day running of 120 cover restaurant which includes a private dining area for weddings and functions
  • Holding responsibility for staff rotas, controlling costs
  • Inspiring and motivating staff to include training
  • Providing exceptional quality standards to the dining experience
  • Helping to manage menu choice and influencing change
  • Liaising with other department heads including the Head Chef and kitchen team and Senior Management Team
  • Cellar management
  • Restaurant set up
  • Meet and Greet diners
  • Working 5/7 days

The ideal Restaurant Manager must;

  • Have experience of running a food operation to a high standard
  • Possess a great attitude and be passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Display an impeccable, smart personal appearance and have the drive to deliver first class customer service.

This is a full time position with full flexibility required at weekends, early mornings and evenings. Shift patterns will be arranged on a rotational basis based on the commercial needs of the business.
