Based in Morecambe, Lancashire our client has under gone a huge renovation with three dining areas within the pub, a generous garden and 7 en-suite bedrooms. The pub area itself has a capacity of 70+ with opportunities for growth; it will be a popular venue for locals, weekend guests, private functions and events.

The current kitchen brigade is looking to recruit a passionate Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef to complete the team. This position would suit a Chef looking to progress their career and develop their culinary skills.

As a Junior Sous/Chef de Partie your role includes:

  • Maintaining and achieving a high standard of food quality, preparation, production and to assist in service under guidance from and Head Chef
  • To keep high standards of personal hygiene, clean uniform and overall camaraderie
  • Having a committed approach to the development of creative service in the kitchen
  • Making sure that mis en plas and equipment are fully prepared before each service

Main Characteristics of the ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrate your ability of working in a similar fresh food environment
  • The ability to work under pressure and be proactive
  • Have the ambition to succeed and show willingness to work well within a team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Being part of a happy environment and have excellent personal presentation and communication skills

    – Chef de Partie: £16-18K
