A unique opportunity has arisen to work with an award winning team in this busy Delicatessen, Restaurant and Outside Caterers.

Our client is in need of a Baker/Pastry Chef to continue in their aim to provide the very best cuisine to their customers.

Located in the Ribble Valley, this cafe/dining room is open 10-6pm, 5 days a week serving the best of seasonal produce. As an experienced Pastry Chef, you will be managing your own section producing dishes from locally sourced ingredients for the restaurant as well as outside catering functions including weddings and events.

You will be responsible for preparing pastries, breads, desserts and ice creams. This position will offer an enthusiastic Chef the opportunity to increase both their knowledge of food and develop their skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for producing pastries, bread and desserts for the dining room and also for making cakes and afternoon teas
  • Helping to ensure the highest levels of food hygiene
  • Maintain and repeat quality of work

Type of Person Required:

  • You will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience, preferably within a restaurant of quality.
  • Be familiar with a range of pastry techniques including bread, pastries, and desserts
  • Focus on quality and consistency
  • Good team player, passionate talented, and hard working
