Cummins Mellor are recruiting for a leading manufacturing business in the search for someone to join their customer service team within Clitheroe.

Our client is a leading company who have a successful history spanning over 100 years and are a market leader in their field. Ably supported by the Customer Service Manager, you will work as part of a small team to deliver excellent customer service to their customers and provide valuable support to our team of Account Managers.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident and self-motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

As Customer Service Advisor your role will include;

  • Answering incoming calls from a variety of channels – parents, retailers, schools, Account Managers
  • Handling enquiries via phone and email, advising customers on bespoke products, resolving problems
  • Orders – pricing and processing
  • Supporting Account Managers
  • General office administration
  • Keep internal systems and audit trails up to date
  • Follow processes and procedures
  • Deal with complex contract projects

The ideal Customer Service Advisor must have;

  • Experience of a customer service role
  • The ability to handle customer complaints/queries in a professional manner
  • An ability to adapt as the role may vary depending upon business requirements
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Cooperative and effective team player, ability to be self-motivated as a large part of this role will be individual tasks/working
  • Good computer skills – Word, Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines
