Our client, a leading local retailer, are seeking a highly numerate and competent administrator to enhance their team. A permanent opportunity, the role requires high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Cummins Mellor seek an experienced administrator to join a leading local business to maintain stock, product and pricing information on the company’s back office system.

The successful candidate will have experience in a pricing, stock or product based administrative role and will possess excellent organisational and administrative skills. Our client offers a vibrant and engaging environment where you will join a successful, large team.

You will benefit from thorough, on the job training and the support of a welcoming team. The role will require working 37.5 hours per week and may include some evening or weekend working.

As a Product and Pricing Administrator your role will include;


  • Setting up and maintaining stock, product and price files
  • Setting up company promotions via the online system
  • Handling cost price queries
  • Maintaining an accurate price book for downloading to Marketing
  • Formulating reports on stock, products and pricing for senior management
  • Stock code maintenance
  • Commission changes


The ideal Product and Pricing Administrator must;

  • Have exceptional numerical ability
  • Have excellent computer skills, Advanced Excel knowledge would be advantageous
  • Be confident prioritising a busy workload and working to strict deadlines
  • Have experience providing administrative support in a retail setting
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems would highly desirable
  • Be a confident user of Microsoft Packages
  • Be a strong team player who brings a positive approach to their work
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
