Excellent opportunity for a HR administrator to take on a permanent role within a market leading services business based in Blackburn. Rapidly expanding, our client seeks an ambitious and driven individual to provide HR services to manage increasing staff levels. With a strong and positive company culture, our client takes care of its’ employees and wants to welcome a new member to their HR team.

The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the HR team and will be instrumental in ensuring payroll is collated in an accurate and timely manner as well as taking responsibility for paperwork for starters and leavers in the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their HR career to learn and develop in a high performing business with an extremely knowledgeable HR team to support their career journey.

As a HR Administrator your role will include;

  • Collating monthly payroll information including calculating overtime and holiday accrual
  • Preparing contracts of employment and all relevant new starter paperwork
  • Managing and coordinating all administration tasks within the department such as induction, recruitment and selection, new starters, leavers, employment changes, absence related documentation and record keeping
  • Maintaining a computerised HR/Payroll system and paper-based filing system
  • Collating and sharing HR reports with management


The ideal HR Administrator must;

  • Have previous experience within Payroll or HR
  • Possess excellent general administrative skills
  • Have good IT skills including Excel
  • Be strong in planning, organising and time management skills
  • Have a very high level of attention to detail
  • Possess excellent communication skills
