Cummins Mellor are seeking an experience hospitality professional to ensure high operational standards meet the demands of this multi million pound business.

We are searching for a highly experienced and hospitality professional Deputy Front of House Manager to join this busy team. You will report directly into the Coffee Shop Manager to help co-ordinate a team of 50 front of house and help maintain excellent customer service standards and continuous team development.

As Deputy Manager your role will include;

  • Working closely with the Manager and managing a team of 50 Front of House staff;
  • Hands on running of the coffee shop and restaurant, where the covers can be in excess of 1000 per day
  • Shared responsibility of training and development of the team, budgeting, stock taking;
  • Providing exceptional quality standards to the dining experience

The ideal Front Office Manager must;

  • You must be able to demonstrate a solid background within a quality catering environment
  • Be able to work within a demanding and fast-paced environment with busy trading peaks communicating at all levels with excellent time management skills, ideally with the experience to develop and support a large team
  • Be passionate about food and customer service, have great people management skills coupled with the ability to demonstrate the highest standards
  • Be highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to ever-changing priorities and deadlines
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload and possess a positive attitude
  • Be confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships
