Permanent (6-month contract with a view to go permanent)

9.30am – 17:00pm

£14,000 p/a

Cummins Mellor are currently working on behalf of one of the UK’s leading suppliers based in East Lancashire. This is working for an innovative, contemporary business with an affectionate company culture.

With cutting edge office environments which are located close to transport amenities, the candidate will have access to a structured training plan and given the opportunity to develop and become an integral part of the team.

The key purpose of the role is to maintain customer relationships with a first contact resolution values, through facilitating support and service to National Accounts Customers.

As a Customer Service Administrator your role will include;

  • Managing and shaping excellent client relationships with assigned accounts
  • Accurately processing customer orders and making amendments accordingly
  • Acting upon orders received via phone, email, and through the website
  • Dealing with customer calls, emails and complaints to ensure first class service is maintained
  • Communicating effectively with the projects department to ensure customer requirements are suitably met
  • Working with the Sales and Account managers to improve processes and service
  • Account Set Up and management
  • To produce correspondence and documents and maintain spread sheets and databases
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity and report to business
  • Resolve invoicing queries & advising customers on overdue invoices
  • Maintenance and arranging stock approvals for customers
  • Weekly, monthly quarterly reporting as required for the customer and internal requirements

The ideal Customer Service Administrator must;

  • Be comfortable working within an open plan office
  • Be able to prioritise effectively and manage own time constraints
  • Be accurate & show attention to detail
  • Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages Word, Excel and Outlook and with very good communication skills
  • Previous experienced in a customer facing role
  • Have excellent organisational skills, the ability to complete tasks to deadlines
  • Have the ability to prioritise, juggle tasks and use own initiative
