My client is a BAFE accredited company who are rapidly expanding.

Specialising in Fire Protection and Security Systems, they are an independent NSI NACOSS approved company. A well-established firm, they have a reputation for delivering outstanding levels of customer service, and offering a technical, consultative service.


The Role

Due to promotion, my client has a permanent position for a Sales Administrator based within the sales office, working as part of a team, you will assist in the development of the existing and growing client base to ensure that customer loyalty is maintained and maximise business opportunities.

Your duties will include the following:

  • Acting as first point of contact for all customer calls
  • Prioritising and filtering calls through to the relevant department/people
  • Ensuring that all sales enquiries are correctly set up, qualified and assigned
  • Processing of sales orders including order acceptance
  • Preparation of quotation/tenders along with associated specifications and drawings
  • Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date
  • Organising all documentation related to each project
  • Ensure that client accounting & correspondence information is correct as orders are processed
  • Collating Customer Welcome packs
  • Preparation & distribution of marketing
  • Preparation & distribution of customer feedback questionnaires by post and email
  • Management and registering of online opportunities
  • Recording of results from feedback provided
  • Updating of documentation including word & excel templates
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • General administration

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Will have experience in a sales administration role
  • Be highly organised
  • Have the interest and ability to pick up technical terminology
  • Be inquisitive and willing to learn about new products
  • Possess good Excel and Word skills
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Have experience of working with a CRM system
  • Will be able to work under their own direction
