Cummins Mellor are recruiting for Customer Service Advisors to work within a Blackburn business. The role has the potential for a permanent appointment following a successful trial period of 20 weeks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, self-motivated and can demonstrate excellent communication, administrative and listening skills.

Our client offers great facilities with a break out area to relax and easy access to refreshments. Free parking is also available and the site is easily accessible from M65 motorway.

As a Customer Service Advisor your role will include;

  • Working within a busy outbound/inbound call centre environment
  • Working within in a small, close knit team
  • Making daily appointments for engineers and seeing them through with follow up calls
  • Providing advice, guidance and assistance to potential and existing customers
  • Resolving day to day administrative tasks and operational issues
  • Ensuring that all correspondence is checked and recorded on the appropriate system to assist future interaction with customers
  • Maintaining up to date records of calls made, appointments for call backs and details of account history
  • Usage of in-house computer systems
  • Completing ad hoc administrative as required

The ideal Customer Service Advisor must;

  • Have experience working in a Customer Service team
  • Be willing to work on a rota basis until 6pm
  • Be available to work a minimum of 37.5 hours – overtime available
  • Have strong administrative skills; in particular data entry, and managing spread sheets
  • Be committed to upholding the company ethos and dedicated to their high standards
  • Have a polite, positive and clear phone manner

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to work in a busy outbound / inbound environment with an excellent hourly rate of £7.38/hr
