Cummins Mellor seek an experienced Account Manager Controller to join a rapidly expanding, people-centric business in the Blackburn area.

Our client offers a vibrant and engaging office environment where you will join a successful, dynamic team. You will manage a team of dedicated Account Managers to ensure the overall delivery of the clients brand plans.

In this client facing role, you will need to ensure that all customer requirements are met and service levels are maximised. Your passions will lie in consistently delivering high quality solutions to clients and achieving results through exceptional people management.

As an Account Manager Controller your role will include;

  • Delivering the ‘best fit’ solutions to clients
  • Ensuring best practice is shared across other Business Units and departmental objectives are achieved
  • Communicating briefs for campaigns and activities and management of their implementation
  • Leading, coaching, training and developing of Account Managers
  • Developing and sense checking activity and evaluation reporting
  • Overseeing kit packing quotations
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of the clients reporting structure
  • Providing the secondary escalation point for all clients specific queries
  • Overseeing and develop the setting up and maintenance of internal systems
  • To validate quotations for client specific requirements over and above contracted rates
  • Regularly updating managers with client opportunities or issues
  • Maintaining internal process documentation
  • Overseeing all client reporting ensuring accurate and meaningful data is available in a professional and timely manner
  • Signing off of monthly client invoicing for all services provided
  • Carrying out duties adhering to processes
  • Conducting all HR procedures as per process

The ideal Account Manager Controller must;

  • Have previous work experience in a similar role
  • Have effective client facing communication skills
  • Be highly organised with an ability to prioritise and delegate
  • Be highly motivated and accountable for decision making
  • Have strong, proven team development leadership qualities
  • Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact and co-operate with all company employees, the ability to respond to customer needs and to develop customer relationships
  • Thrive in taking responsibility for a client’s requirements with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Be focused, proactive, positive, committed & can work well under pressure
  • Be strong at multi-tasking
  • Be fully computer literate
