An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist for a highly successful manufacturing and distribution business in the Ribble Valley. Your role will be to provide the first point of contact to visitors, answering inbound calls and providing administrative support to the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a front of house capacity, strong administrative and communication skills and an approachable, friendly demeanour. As the first point of contact for visitors you will represent the company brand and must consequently have a polite and professional personality.

The business also has a requirement for someone to complete additional administrative tasks for their accounts team. This role will be a small portion of your role, but could potentially extend as a career path for applicants interested in working in an accounts capacity.

As a Receptionist and Administrator your role will include;

  • Being the initial point of contact for all visitors and inbound calls to the business
  • Preparing and maintaining board rooms for meetings
  • Re-directing phone calls to the correct department
  • Providing administrative support to departmental managers
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Accounts administrative duties (mainly data entry)

The ideal Receptionist and Administrator must;

  • Have experience working in a Receptionist role
  • Be willing to undertake additional accounts administration duties
  • Be committed to upholding the company ethos and dedicated to their high standards
  • Be motivated, developing and maintaining a high standard of accuracy
  • Be an excellent communicator and be energetic
  • Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Be computer literate
  • Display a willingness to assist in all areas when the need arises
