Cummins Mellor are recruiting a Customer Service Co-Ordinator for a manufacturers based in Burnley on a temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent.

Exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Co-Ordinator to take on a temporary role within a manufacturer business, led by forward thinking management that is constantly in touch with customers and the market. As a Customer Service Co-Ordinator your role will include;

  • Management and “ownership” of customers’ orders from receipt to dispatch and beyond, through close monitoring and liaison with the materials management, production and dispatch teams.
  • Monitoring and control of requests to amend or re-schedule orders.
  • Balancing the need to be commercially aware of the effects on the business, whilst at the same time understanding our customers’ requirements
  • Prompt, positive and professional communication with internal and external customers alike at all times
  • Organisation of requests for samples, quotes and new product requirements in conjunction with other departments
  • Efficient handling and reporting of complaints through the established processes, involving other areas of the business where required to ensure a speedy and appropriate resolution
  • Participation in and contribution to the investigating and reporting of business trends, anomalies etc.
  • Administrative and other tasks to support the Sales and Customer Service functions or as requested by Management

The ideal operations administrator must;

  • Experience working within the manufacturing industry
  • A positive , tenacious, ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent, demonstrable customer service skills with good attention to detail
  • The right attitude, desire and ability to be part of a continuous improvement process as required by the Business
  • Team worker, self-motivated and driven to achieve
  • Numerate and literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
