The successful candidate will have experience in a Credit Controller role and will possess excellent analytical and numerical skills. Our client offers a vibrant and engaging environment where you will join a successful team.

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the prompt settlement of accounts with credit and to update customer information, whilst ensuring that all orders are released in a timely manner and cash is allocated correctly.

As a Credit Controller your role will include;

  • Credit Control and monitoring of overdue payments by use of a spread sheet and the software SAP
  • Regular customer contact by phone, fax and email
  • Handling disputed accounts and negotiating to bring payment into line with terms of business
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date customer details and account records via the software SAP
  • Anticipating developments, and identifying accounts that will require special attention
  • Unallocated cash and query resolution daily
  • Working with a minimum of supervision on collection of overdue accounts
  • Completing other projects as needed to support the accounting department
  • Working towards monthly targets

The ideal Credit Controller must;

  • Have proven experience working in Credit Control or similar accounts role
  • Be knowledgeable of relevant accounting software SAP and/or Sage would be a distinct advantage
  • Be skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel including Pivot tables and VLookups
  • Possess excellent verbal communication skills
  • Be flexible, enthusiastic with a can do attitude
