Cummins Mellor are recruiting a Payroll Administrator for a sector-leading organisation based in Blackburn.

Exciting opportunity for a Payroll Clerk to take on a permanent role within a successful and growing firm in the Blackburn area with opportunity for career progression within accountancy & finance.

As Payroll Administrator your role will include;

  • Record-keeping and Payroll Processing
  • Working within a team of 5 people
  • Processing payroll documentation for new and existing staff
  • Working 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours)

The ideal Payroll Administrator must;

  • Have a background in accounts, finance or payroll
  • A flexible and hardworking attitude
  • Be committed to upholding the company ethos and dedicated to their high standards
  • Experience of working with Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • A good background knowledge of the following would be a distinct advantage: (Statutory sick pay, Maternity pay, National Insurance, Tax)
