This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading East Lancashire Business and would be ideal for someone seeking flexible hours of work. Your role would include working within a Purchase Ledger team of 4 people within a wider accounts office of 8.

Cummins Mellor are recruiting an Accounts Person for a leading Blackburn manufacturer who are looking for someone to work 13.5 hours per week. The hours are flexible and can be split across 2-4 days.

As an Accounts Person your role will include;

  • Working across all aspects of purchase ledger including Payments & BACS
  • Coding and checking invoices
  • Inputting invoices
  • Matching invoices with purchase orders
  • Checking and reconciling supplier statements
  • Filing invoices and statements
  • Dealing with purchase enquiries
  • Processing staff expenses

The ideal candidate must;

  • Be experienced in all aspects of purchase ledger including Payments & BACS
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Word
  • Cashbook experience would be an advantage (including bank reconciliation)
  • Be willing to undertake general office administrative duties
  • Ideally have used Microsoft AX (also known as Microsoft Dynamics). This is desirable but not essential.
