An experienced Accountant is required by this well-respected retail business on a part time basis to provide comprehensive financial control of the companies’ accounts.

With experience in Quickbooks accounting software, your key duties will be:

•Daily input of purchase invoices (including stock input checks)

•Weekly input of sales invoices, bank receipts and reconciliation

•Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements and bank accounts

•Monthly preparation of payments to suppliers

•Monthly management accounts

•Quarterly preparation of vat returns

•Yearly preparation of year end accounts for accountants review

•Cash flow projections

•Creation and preparation of Key Performance Indicators

•Liaison with Companies Accountants at meetings and in correspondence

•Overseeing & preparing monthly rota system for stock checks at branch level

•Dealing with suppliers’ queries by telephone and email, undertaking internal investigations and keeping record of action taken.

You will be professional and able to deal confidently with suppliers, directors, managers and staff members. There will be some travel to different retails sites and meetings so own transport is essential.

The core hours for this role are 20 hours over 4 days.
