Alice joined our company in 2008 and has a wide range of experience on the CRB process advising individuals and organisations on all aspects of the disclosure service. Excellent administration and customer service skills, Alice was awarded Apprentice of the year 2009 by Training 2000. Amy lives in the Ribble Valley area and has over 8 years experience working within the hospitality sector. Although gaining a 2:1 Degree in Human Resource Management, she couldn’t forget her passion and love for the hospitality industry. Immediately after finishing University she trained at The Gleneagles 5* Country Hotel and Spa Resort. Her career path has taken her to Michelin Restaurants, 3 AA Rosette establishments and Gastropubs.
Providing great customer service is what makes Amy tick and she is very passionate about good food and wine and would dine out every night…if she could afford it!! Amy loves to travel and spent a year living in Hong Kong and travelling throughout South East Asia including China, The Philippines, and Borneo.

Andrea lives in Helmshore and is often referred to as the boomerang of her family, “you just can’t get rid of her, she’ll come right back!” Andrea lives with her mum and dad (again) and has an older sister who’s married with two adorable children Thomas and Keira.
She enjoys a lot of things, but a big part of her life is food as Andrea is a major foody and loves to try new things and eat out as much as her waistline and bank account will allow! Very family orientated Andrea spends as much time with her family as humanly bearable and encourages gatherings for the minimal of reasons any excuse for a Party!!!

Andrew completed 15,000 ft. tandem sky drive in 2004 and hopefully in the not too distant future aims to fulfil his ambition of becoming a fully qualified skydiver (AFF). An animal lover, his pets have included a breeding pair of Sambava chameleons, pair of emperor scorpions, 3 fire bellied toads, and a pair of giant prickly stick insects. Within the next few years he is hopeful to successfully complete a lifetime dream of exploring China and Canada. Currently temping for Cummins Mellor, Andrew has fit really well into the team and is enjoying working in the hospitality division, his additional spare time activities include a keen music library, an small interest in the stars and planets, researching new technology.

Anya is the Hospitality Teams Modern Apprentice, she deals with organising files and answering the phones. Anya is new to the team and this is also her first job after leaving college. Anya recently left college after completing A-levels in Psychology, Ethics, Theatre Studies and Sociology. Ayesha is 23 years old and working as an Accounts Assistant in our DBS checking department ‘Personnel Checks’.
She has successfully graduated with a 2.1 from The University of Manchester with an honours degree in Accounting and Finance. Ayesha’s previous job was also working as an accounts assistant in Bolton, where she worked for thirteen months after completing her degree.
‘I am hoping all this experience will help me with my future plans of becoming a Chartered Accountant.’
Ayesha would love to travel to many different countries one day, as different cultures fascinate her! Having the experience to explore different traditions and languages is definitely something she would like to do in the future. Ayesha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going shopping and eating out at different restaurants. Charlie must be the hardest working dog in Lancashire, he arrived at Cummins Mellor in 2009, gracing us with his presence every day, being a Springer he’s always willing be go the extra mile. A lively, enthusiastic creature- he quickly learnt how to win friends and influence his colleagues. Always happy to see you, his strengths are in the meet and greet arena, informing you of when a client buffet has arrived on the premises and keen to tease a stroke especially under the chin! An asset to us all, he soothes a frosted brow, is calming and content- we all love Charlie, the place just wouldn’t be the same without him.

Charlotte graduated in 2014 from Edge Hill University with a degree in English Literature. She then moved away from home to Milton Keynes where she worked for six months in medical recruitment. Charlotte has now come home to her mum in Wilpshire near Blackburn as she was feeling just a little home sick! Charlotte has decided to join the team at Cummins Mellor as she wanted to work for a small Lancashire based business, something that felt a little more like home and not a big scary business! She’ll be working on the Accounts and Finance desk and is looking forward to learning all about the very complicated sounding job roles and branching out in to a 360 recruitment role rather than just looking after the candidates.

Emily is a modern apprentice in the Personnel Checks division studying for an NVQ in Customer Service, she lives in a small town called Oswaldtwistle, with her parents Joanna and Adam. Emily’s mum works for the government and her dad is a full time amazing builder. Her aim in life is to travel the world and hopefully return to Thailand where she went on holiday when she was around the age of 8. Emily adores elephants, as they are her all time favourite animal & she hopes to ride one, one day. When Emily is older she hopes to move to Totnes in Devon, as majority of her family live down there and it is like a second home to her!
When Emily’s not at work she like to spend time with her boyfriend and family, also her adorable dog spike. She loves going for long walks along the canal and her favourite food is definitely Chinese.

Jenny joined the team as a as a Customer Service Advisor/Administrator within our DBS Checking division, Personnel Checks.
She has always worked within a customer focused role, in a variety of settings, since leaving secondary education and excellent customer service is one of her passions. To date, she has successfully completed NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration and NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service.
Jenny is a local Accrington girl and has recently purchased her first home with her partner Lee and during her spare time Jenny thoroughly enjoys renovating and decorating her new home. She also loves spending time with her large family and is one of seven siblings. She also has 10 nieces and nephews, with another on the way!

Jodie has been with Cummins Mellor since 2008, with over 7 years experience within the Hospitality industry, having trained at 1 Michelin starred Northcote and their Ribble Valley Inns gastro pub group. She has broadened her horizons having travelled and worked around Australia which has given her a wealth of knowledge within the catering and hospitality sector. She has an eye for detail and works proactively to source the best possible candidates to fill the most demanding of roles from Chefs de Partie to Hotel General managers. Jodie is outgoing and not afraid of any challenge. She has completed a 12,000 feet Sky Dive over the Great Barrier Reef, is a keen horse rider, and has experienced Scuba Diving and White Water rafting. Katie lives in Putney in South West London with her boyfriend Ed. She graduated from Durham University where she was a cheerleader and has since worked in recruitment. Outside of work she loves eating out, her birthday presents are always a meal in a fancy restaurant. She also loves going to the theatre – The Book of Mormon is highly recommended!

Kelly lives in Burnley with her partner Mat who after 17 years is yet to propose despite many hints! Mat is a Press Shop Manager for a Manufacturing business in Burnley and is also a qualified Plumber.
They have a daughter called Florence who was born in 2014 and a geriatric dog called Jack who is treated like the second baby in the family. Kelly loves animals, so much so she is a Pescetarian – not quite a vegetarian. She loves food, spending time with her friends and has recently started exercising again after many years off! She describes herself as a straightforward Lancashire lass.
Kelly has a background in HR in the Hospitality industry and after starting a family thought it was time for a change in career. Having recruited through Cummins Mellor previously she felt she would be well suited to our team and joined in January 2015.

Louise joined us in April 2013 and is an Advisor in our CRB Checking division Personnel Checks. Louise lives in Ramsbottom, a small town just outside of Bury with her husband, Graeme. Louise would love to have pets, especially a Westie but Graeme isn’t keen! Louise enjoys socialising with friends and family, travelling and going to see live music, but her favourite thing in the world is her family. She has also clocked up quite a few air miles in her time, as a teenager she spent a summer working in Malia, a popular holiday resort, and she has also travelled around California. Both experiences taught her plenty of life skills. Louise’s main aim in life is to work hard and see the world.

Luke lives in Oswaldtwistle with his parents, Gill and Kien and his dog, Benson. He has been in work since 2013 after leaving Blackburn College where he studied Psychology, History, Teaching and English Literature at A-Level as well as Physics, Maths, Art and Music which he did in his first year but changed subjects.
Luke has an ambition that one day he will be able to travel to places like the Far East or South America and try new things he wouldn’t see or experience in sunny ol’ Lancashire. Natasha is started as a Receptionist here at Cummins Mellor Recruitment but now works as an Administrator in our DBS checking divison.
Whilst carrying out her modern apprenticeship with us, Natasha is also studying for her NVQ level 2 in Business Administration.
Natasha lives with her family in Blackburn which includes her parents, 2 brothers and a sister all younger than her. Natasha chose to work at Cummins Mellor because she knows how fast we are growing as a business and is excited to develop her career with us.
Natasha likes business and finds all the different aspects very interesting and feels she could learn a lot more about it throughout her career with us and to one day hopes to reach her goal of being a successful business woman.
Natasha enjoys music, dancing and likes to read as she believes reading expands the vocabulary, she doesn’t really have a specific author she prefers, she just sees which books look interesting and catch her eye. Paul has joined Cummins Mellor to lead the Business support team; a qualified Chartered Management Accountant, he’s in charge of the company finances.
Paul lives in Blackburn with his wife and three children, outside of work Paul likes to keep fit by swimming and playing 7 a-side football. He also enjoys gardening, listening to his favourite artist Pink, taking long walks, whistling, and supporting his favourite football team Wolverhampton Wanderers…..come on the Wolves!
Rachael lives in Clitheroe with her boyfriend and twin girls, she has recently joined the team as a Recruitment Assistant for our Chefs Division! Rachael has worked in the Hospitality Industry for the past 8 years for the Ribble Valley Inns Group as well as spending some time at Northcote and also completed a Foundation Degree in Hospitality Management. After having her 2 little girls in 2012 she wanted to start a new challenge where she was able to spend more time with her family as well as have a good career path for the future.

Joining the company in 2011, initially in the CRB Checking division, Tracey works as the Business & Recruitment Administration Manager. With her strong administration background, Tracey offers an organised and thorough administration support to the recruitment team as well as ensuring client and candidate records conform to current legislation. Working closely with the different departments, Tracey also ensures the directors are provided with up to date administration information and support.
